Dear Neighbor,
I have heard from so many of you about the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought across our community, especially the challenges facing small businesses that are the backbone of our community.
Last week, Congress passed the CARES Act to provide, among other things, additional resources for small businesses in the form of grants and loans that are administered by a network of local banks. There are two principal ways for small businesses to get grants and loans, which can be forgivable, through economic disaster loans and payroll protection program loans relating to COVID-19. These programs can provide meaningful relief for businesses in our community.
My office is here to help you navigate that process. We will be hosting a webinar this Friday at noon with the SBA to go over the process and answer your questions.
If this is something you may need, I hope you will join us! Sign up here or at the link below. And if there is anything else I can do to help you, please don’t hesitate to call!
Best wishes,
