Dear Neighbor, One year ago today, I was sworn in as the representative for our district in the United States House of Representatives. It has been an eventful, historic year. I am proud of the work my office did in 2019 to advance the priorities of our community and our country. From disaster recovery to health care to trade, we have focused on the things that matter most to you, and, in doing so, helped Americans across the country. I am pleased to share with you our Annual Report for 2019, highlighting some of the work we have done. Next week, I will return to Washington to begin the second year of the 116th Congress. After spending the holidays back home in the district, I will go back with a renewed sense of purpose and optimism about the things we can accomplish in the year ahead. I value your partnership and look forward to hearing from you in 2020. I hope to see you at town halls, community conversations, Across the Aisles events, and many other places. If you are not already keeping up with me on social media, I hope you will follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. And I hope you will share this information with your friends and neighbors throughout the district and around the Houston area. I am honored and proud to be your representative in Congress. I wish you all the best for this new year. Sincerely, |
