Dear Neighbor,
The Houston Area Survey has long been a gauge measuring Houstonians’ hopes, dreams, frustrations, and overall experiences living in this city we call home. Each year, we learn a little bit more about the community around us with the Survey’s results, produced by the researchers at Rice’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research. This uniquely special, long-term study has shown time and again that Houston is a bellwether for our country, thanks to our diversity and our economy.
I’m glad to say that its founder and long-time director, Dr. Stephen Klineberg, will join me for a virtual event for residents of TX-07 to talk about this year’s survey and all it tells us.
Join us on Thursday, August 18, at 6:00 p.m. CT for a Virtual Town Hall on the Houston Area Survey.
Dr. Klineberg will share the Kinder Institute’s research and results, and I invite you to join and ask questions about it in a Q&A at the end. RSVP by clicking here or on the graphic below.
