Mail Status Requests, Refund Requests, Indemnity Claims, and more
Thank you for contacting my office regarding your request for assistance from the United States Postal Service (USPS).
If you are missing mail, you may follow these steps to track and retrieve those items. If you are still unable to locate your mail, you may request a refund for fees, postage and other extra services. If a package was lost, damaged or had broken or missing pieces and was covered by insurance, you may file an indemnity claim. If you are moving, you can file a change of address form online. Alternatively, you can apply in person at your local USPS office for any of the above areas.
If you are experiencing persistent problems with mail delivery or facing other USPS issues, my office can help. Below is a link to a Privacy Release Form, which authorizes my office to make a congressional inquiry on your behalf. Please complete the form to proceed with your inquiry and upload any supporting documentation where applicable.
If you have any further questions or if this is a time-sensitive matter, please do not hesitate to contact my office at (713) 353-8680.
