(Houston, TX) – Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) has joined colleagues Jim Costa (CA-16), Bill Flores (TX-17), and Bill Johnson (OH-06) as a co-chair of the Congressional Natural Gas Caucus. The caucus is a bipartisan effort to educate Members of Congress and the American people about the importance of natural gas as a domestic energy resource and its role in meeting the nation's energy demand and attaining energy security.

“Natural gas has driven the energy renaissance we are experiencing across the country. The increased use of natural gas has helped the U.S. reduce carbon emissions to a 30-year-low in 2016,” said Congresswoman Fletcher. “As we look to our energy future, and work to reduce carbon emissions, develop technology, and power the world, natural gas is a critical part of our path forward.
