Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher Votes in Support of Sending Articles of Impeachment to the Senate

(Washington, DC) – Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) voted in support of H. Res. 798 to transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate. The resolution passed 228-193.
“Today the House voted on a resolution to move forward with the next step in the impeachment process: sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate. I voted in favor of this resolution because the American people have placed their trust in Congress to uphold the Constitution of the United States,” said Congresswoman Fletcher. “It is now the job of the Senate to conduct a fair and transparent trial in a manner that will protect the Constitution and seek truth for our country.”
