Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) delivered handmade valentines to area veterans at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.  Part of Congresswoman Fletcher’s annual Valentines for Veterans program, local students, teachers, and residents of the Seventh Congressional District made nearly 1,000 cards this month to be distributed to our veterans. 

“Across our community, we are grateful for the love of country our veterans have demonstrated, and the Valentines for Vets program provides one small way to express our appreciation to them,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher.  “I hope the messages of love and gratitude brighten the days of all who receive them this year, andI am grateful to everyone who participated and helped spread the love this Valentine’s Day.”

This is Congresswoman Fletcher’s third year running the Valentines for Vets program in TX-07.
