Naturalization Applications, Employment Authorization Documents, Permanent Residency Applications, and more
Thank you for contacting my office regarding your request for assistance with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Before my office can inquire on your behalf, please review the USCIS processing times here to determine whether your case is still within normal processing times. You can also check the status of your case through the USCIS case status portal. If you are requesting expedited processing, please carefully review the USCIS criteria here.
If your case is outside of normal processing times, if you believe USCIS has made an error in processing your case, or if you believe you meet the USCIS criteria for expedited processing, my office can help by submitting a formal inquiry on your behalf. Please note that unfortunately, we will not be able to submit a "case status" inquiry to USCIS if your case is still within normal processing times and does not qualify for expedited processing, since the status of your case is available on the case status portal on the USCIS website.
Below you will find a link to a Privacy Release Form, which authorizes my office to make a congressional inquiry on your behalf. Please note that requests for expedited processing must include documentation supporting that your case meets USCIS criteria, as USCIS will not consider an expedited request without supporting evidence.
Please complete the USCIS form by clicking here. Once finished, save the completed form to your computer along with the most recent documentation you received from USCIS. Then, upload all documents to my office's Privacy Release Form, which you can access by clicking here. When filling out the Privacy Release Form, be sure to select "U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services" from the "Agency Involved" dropdown menu.
- ATTENTION: Please do not submit the Privacy Release Form until you have completed the USCIS form. Failure to upload the completed USCIS Form or select the correct “Agency Involved” will result in delays in processing your case.
If you have any further questions or if this is a time-sensitive matter, please do not hesitate to contact my office at (713) 353-8680.
