(Houston, TX) – Last night, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) held a Community Conversation on Transportation with Metro CEO Thomas Lambert, Metro Manager for Regional and Long Range Planning Priya Zachariah, Houston City Council Member At-Large David Robinson, and Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) Houston District Engineer Quincy Allen.
Congresswoman Fletcher and local transportation experts discussed the current state of transportation in the Houston area and their plans for the future. The speakers also answered questions and concerns from the audience.
Community Conversations are issue-specific town halls organized by the office of the Congresswoman. These conversations serve as an opportunity for constituents to ask questions or express concerns to the Congresswoman and local experts on the issue. The next Texas’ Seventh Congressional District town hall is on June 15, 2019.
