Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) issued the following statement today in support of the House Resolution 24, the article of impeachment against President Trump for incitement of insurrection, which Congressmen David Cicilline (RI-01), Ted Lieu (CA-33), and Jamie Raskin (MD-08) introduced in the House of Representatives, and of which Congresswoman Fletcher is an original co-sponsor:

“President Trump has shown he represents a grave threat to our Constitution and to our country.  He willfully incited an attack against the Government of the United States—an assault on our democracy that would once have been unthinkable.  For these reasons and these actions, he must be impeached.”
