Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) announced Texas’ Seventh Congressional District 2022 U.S. Service Academy Nominees, following her virtual reception with the nominees to celebrate their achievement. 

“It is a privilege to nominate bright, dedicated students for admission to our country’s service academies.  This year’s nominees have demonstrated their commitment to service and excellence through academics, community engagement, and leadership,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher.  “Their desire to serve and dedication to service represents what is best about our country.” 

The United States service academies offer a first-class education as well as the opportunity for graduates to serve as commissioned officers in the United States Armed Services upon graduation.  Final acceptance is determined solely by the service academies.
