Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher Opens Sugar Land Office

Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) opened a new district office in Sugar Land, and held a ribbon cutting and open house over the weekend. 

“I am proud to represent so many people in Fort Bend County in Congress, and am thrilled to open a district office in Sugar Land to serve them,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher.  “I was honored and delighted that so many leaders from Fort Bend County and the City of Sugar Land joined neighbors from across the district to celebrate the official opening of our new office.  I am grateful for the partnership of people across Texas’ diverse and dynamic Texas’ Seventh Congressional District, and I look forward to continuing to work together for our community and country.”

Joining Congresswoman Fletcher for the ribbon cutting were State Representative Ron Reynolds; State Representative Dr. Suleman Lalani; Fort Bend County Commissioner Grady Prestage; Fort Bend County Commissioner Dexter McCoy; Fort Bend County Commissioner Andy Meyers; Sugar Land Mayor Joe Zimmerman; Sugar Land City Council Member William Ferguson; Sugar Land City Council Member Naushad Kermally; Sugar Land City Council Member Carol McCutcheon; Sugar Land City Council Member Suzanne Whatley; Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan; Fort Bend County Court at Law 3 Judge Juli Matthew; Fort Bend County Treasurer Bill Rickert; President of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce King Banerjee as well as representatives from the office of Fort Bend County Judge KP George, the University of Houston at Sugar Land, and the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce of Texas and neighbors from across the district and the area.
