Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) announced that Toby Nguyen and Ram Patel are the 2023 winners of the Congressional App Challenge.  Toby and Ram’s app, the Clean Air Tracker, provides real-time information about air quality and pollutant levels for a user's current location, helping users make decisions with this important information. 

“I am so impressed with the creative talents of our young neighbors,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher.  “Toby and Ram’s Clean Air Tracker app is a creative and important contribution to helping people get information they need and improving public health.  Their enthusiasm and resourcefulness are so inspiring.  I congratulate them on this accomplishment and look forward to seeing what they do next!”

Toby and Ram are both TX-07 residents who are students at Clements High School.  The Congressional App Challenge is an annual competition that is open to middle and high school students in each congressional district.  For more information on the Congressional App Challenge, click here.
