Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher Announces 2024 Service Academy Nominees

Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) announced the nominees for appointments to the U.S. Service Academies for Texas’ Seventh Congressional District.  Last week, she hosted a reception with the nominees celebrating their achievements.

“It is a privilege to nominate bright, dedicated students for an appointment to our country’s service academies,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher.  “This year’s nominees have demonstrated their commitment to service and excellence through academics, community engagement, and leadership.  Their desire to serve and dedication to service represents what is best about our country.”

The United States Service Academies offer a first-class education as well as the opportunity for graduates to serve as commissioned officers in the United States Armed Forces upon graduation.  A committee of service academy graduates advises Congresswoman Fletcher on nominations each year and she is grateful for their time and insight.  Final acceptance to each academy is determined solely by the service academies.
