Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) held a town hall with State Representative Gene Wu, where they provided an update on the legislative sessions in Washington and Austin.

“With so much happening in Washington, it is critical that our community stay engaged and informed,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher.  “From proposing Medicaid cuts, to implementing barriers to access Social Security, to cutting funding for lifesaving medical research, the Trump administration’s recent actions and inaction in Congress are putting our community and country at risk.  I was glad to hear from State Representative Gene Wu and to hear from residents of Texas’ Seventh Congressional District at a time when it is more important than ever to work together to fight for Texans and all Americans.”
