Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher Hosts Roundtable to Highlight Local Hispanic Leaders

Today, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) hosted a virtual roundtable discussion with Hispanic leaders in the Houston area.  Originally scheduled to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month as an opportunity to both celebrate successes and discuss issues and priorities, the discussion focused on the achievements and contributions of Houston’s Hispanic communities, priorities and concerns, strategies to increase opportunity, and national policies that can address them.  

“The strength of our community lies in our diversity.  I was glad to have the opportunity to visit with this terrific group of community leaders today about their priorities and experiences,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher.  “I look forward to our continued partnership to address local issues and advance national policies that matter to our diverse community—one that is profoundly shaped by Hispanic culture and leadership.”
