Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) was awarded the United States Chamber of Commerce’s Abraham Lincoln Leadership for America Award for 2021.  This award recognizes members of Congress who demonstrate the bipartisan leadership and constructive governing necessary to move our country forward.  

“I am honored to receive the Abraham Lincoln Leadership for America Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for working to bring people together to craft common-sense policies that strengthen our economy,” said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher.  “Houstonians know the value of working together.  I am proud to bring that spirit to Congress.”

“These awards recognize members of Congress based on their co-sponsorship of legislation important to the business community,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Suzanne Clark. “The Chamber appreciates Congresswoman Fletcher’s support of policies that create jobs and support economic growth.”

This is Congresswoman Fletcher’s third award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  Last year, Congresswoman Fletcher earned the Abraham Lincoln Leadership Awardand the Spirit of Enterprise Award, which honors the members of Congress who support “pro-business legislation, bipartisan leadership, and constructive governing.”
